We've got another small college that I didn't know existed before I found these pictures. West Texas A&M is a Division II school in tiny Canyon, TX, just south of Amarillo. From what I understand of Texas geography, that puts it smack dab in the middle of nowhere.
But they do have a decent list of famous alums. And they seem to be a professional wrestling training ground:
- Actor French Stewart (from 3rd Rock from the Sun)
- Former pro wrestler Tito Santana
- Another former pro wrestler Dusty Rhodes
- Former NFLer (and current pain in the ass) Mercury Morris
- Recently fired Lousiville football coach Steve Kragthorpe
- Yet another former pro wrestler Ted "The Million Dollar Man" DiBiase
- Retired NBA player & coach Maurice Cheeks
