I can't wait to see the Saintsations this year. This is one of the more underrated NFL cheerleader squads in my opinion. Just a ton of talent on those sidelines.

Looks Like I'm Rooting For The Saints This Year
Yes, I pick my favorite NFL teams based on their cheerleaders. Isn't that how everyone picks their favorite team?
Super Bowl Cheerleader Petition
So we haven't really talked about the Super Bowl on here because, to the horror of many, neither team playing in the Super Bowl has cheerleaders! How did we let this happen? More importantly, how did the NFL let this happen? I don't think I'm exaggerating at all when I call this the greatest disaster since the New Coke.
Honestly, I think this is a matter of national security. And politics aside, Barack Obama's refusal to remedy this debacle does not bode well for his re-election efforts. Fortunately for all of the cheerleader lovers across this great country of ours, there is at least one organization raising a stink over this complete calamity: Bodog.net.
The geniuses at Bodog have set up a Facebook page and online petition to encourage the NFL to make cheerleaders a fixture at all future Super Bowls. This is a cause that is near and dear to my heart, and certainly worth action on my (and your) part.
The Facebook page is here, and you can sign the online petition here. Take a couple of minutes out of your busy day (or take a break from shoveling snow depending on where you live) and make your voice heard. CHEERLEADERS AT EVERY SUPER BOWL!
Please, NFL, do not let this kind of catastrophe happen again. I'm not sure your league could survive it.
And just for your time, a cheerleader that was at last year's Super Bowl (i.e. a REAL American sporting event).

But I'm not sure anyone is complaining. If I were the New Orleans Saints, though, I'd be getting this hottie on their cheerleading squad ASAP. I don't care if she can dance or not!
Monday Night Football Cheerleader Match-Up Week 2
Before Week 1 this looked like a very enticing match-up. Then the 49ers went out and laid a complete egg in the opening weekend. Not to mention the Saints didn't look all that amazing in their primetime season opener with the Vikings. I still think this will be a good game to watch as the San Fran D tries to shut down Drew Brees and company (and from a fantasy football perspective that is exactly what I need to happen.
On the cheerleader side of things, it's a pretty tough call. Let's check out the evidence.

The Saints girls just look like they know how to have a good time. Probably the fact that they live in New Orleans and are smokin' hot. I think those 2 factors alone automatically make a girl look like she'd be fun to hang out with. My guess is these girls rule Bourbon Street.

There really is something to be said for cheerleader outfits that make the girls look like pirate wenches. I'm not into pirates as much as some people, but the pirate wench look is a definitely a winner
I think I have to go with the Saints on this one if for no other reason than the adorable little blonde in the last 2 pics. She puts them in the lead against just about every other team in the league, in my opinion.

Since I'm taking the day off for Labor Day, I thought I would feature a picture that shows off a lot of hard work on someone's part. I mean, how difficult would it be to body paint these girls without getting completely distracted. Hell, I'm getting distracted just looking at the picture.

Well, the Saints pulled off the upset last night in dramatic fashion. What a great game! It's nice to have another Super Bowl that actually lives up to the hype. Both teams played well, and that's really all you can ask for (well that, and a halftime performance that is worth a crap!).

Super Bowl XLIV Cheerleader Preview
It's finally time for the big game. Thank God! I'm tired of waiting and listening to any moron with access to a microphone try to tell me what to watch for, which 3rd string OL might be the key to the game or why I should care what the Madden video simulation has to say about any of this.
The only thing that really matters here is the cheerleaders. And both teams have pretty good squads. That's why we're going to have a larger than usual set of pics for each team. Enjoy the game and Go Saints!
