Chick-fil-A Bowl Cheerleader Preview -- #20 South Carolina v. #23 Florida State
Today's final games matches 2 teams that lost their conference championship and are looking to put the finishing touches on satifying 10-win seasons. There was a time, albeit a very SHORT time, when the Gamecocks had much higher aspirations for this season. But following up their win over Alabama with a road loss at Kentucky thoroughly shattered those dreams. 10 wins is still a big milestone and one the team should be proud of. It's hard to root against a coach named Jimbo, though, so I think FSU pulls this one off.

Game of the Day -- #1 Auburn v. #19 South Carolina
Honestly, the Oklahoma/Nebraska game is probably a better game overall, but this is the game that decides the national championship match-up (no offense Oregon State, but you're gonna get crushed). Can the Ol' Ball Coach pull another rabbit out of the hat, or will the NCAA-sponsored Auburn Tigers keep the dream alive?
If I was a betting man, and if you've followed any of my predicitions you will know why I'm not, I think the Son of a Preacher Man earns his 250k and puts Auburn in the BCS Championship Game.

Week 6 Winners -- South Carolina
Weekly Winners is our weekly highlights of college football teams that pulled off upsets during the previous weekend. As usual, we will celebrate these upsets with cheerleaders. And maybe a little snarky commentary.
Of course, this was the big upset of the weekend. Maybe the Old Ball Coach does have one more run at a national title left in that crazy ass head of his. South Carolina looked awfully good Saturday, and Alabama finally looked touchable. It still wouldn't surprise me to see Alabama back in the BCS Title Game this year, though.

But I can't just have 2 weekly winners, so the Old Ball Coach makes his first appearance on College Cheerleader Heaven for knocking off #22 Georgia. And, if you don't know who Marcus Lattimore is yet, then you better get really familiar really fast. Dude is a freakin' stud!

The Gamecocks won their first ever College World Series title the other day in dramatic, extra innings fashion. It was the first Championship Game to go to extra innings in 3 decades. So congrats, Gamecocks!
South Carolina Cheerleaders Enjoy Upset of #1 Kentucky
It sure is a tough time to be the #1 team in college basketball right now. Kansas gets knocked off by a walk-on led, under-manned Tennessee squad, Texas loses 2 straight road games after taking over the top spot, then Kentucky loses it's first game after ascending the mountain.
I sure hope the South Carolina fans enjoyed their celebration because it's going to cost the school 25k. Regardless, if I'd been there I would have rushed the court too. When else are you going to have such a great chance to get up close and personal with one of these cheerleader hotties?

Really Papa Johns? You couldn't just call this the Papa Johns Bowl? You had to throw your damn website in there. Well that just annoys me. Too bad your pizza is so damn tasty or I would boycott your ass just on principal. Well, that and the fact that your commercials are also starting to annoy me. Could you try just a little hard to make yourself a celebrity? I'm not sure you really needed a nation-wide tour, dude.
Oh, and there is a football game going here too. At least I guess UCONN still plays football. They were the media's sweetheart for a year or so, but they've fallen off the radar lately. Which is probably why they're in the pizza bowl.

Yes Ole Miss was VERY over-rated. But South Carolina still beat a Top 5 team. And I beat this cutie was VERY happy about it.
