Busy Days Ahead..

Well, here is another question for those of you who know the computer (I certainly don't)!

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO BURN A DISC ON WINDOW'S MEDIA PLAYER?

I have tried, but it keeps popping up with things like " Please insert writeable disc," when there IS  a writeable disc in there!! Urrg! And please forgive me for this type of post...I just needed to ask! And thank you, Amy, for your help on the last matter...it didn't work, though. So I am trying this! Anyways, if you DO know what might be the problem, please comment and tell me! I would sincerely appriciate it. =)

Alright, then. That is out! On to more important things. :) Please, everyone, remember the H. Family (the three oldest young ladies are my dear new friends and pen pals) in your prayers. They are on a month "tour" to Arizona, where they are sharing God's Word and blessings through their singing in various places. However, when you are singing, you tend to get nervous! Please pray that they will be safe, comfortable, and at ease throughout their shows and trips. Thank you!

We have been quite busy around here lately. School, of course, takes up alot of time, but I am pleased to say that it has been going quite well. Praise the LORD! I am also starting piano lessons again, and I haven't had them for over a year. I am so excited about that! I take them from a very nice lady who is a wonderful teacher and pianist, and has been teaching for over 60 years! I have been playing since I was seven, and have been able to use my instrument for church, as well as a homeschool choir which I am now playing for. I am so glad that I am able to be of use! =) So, I have been quite busy practicing everything, as you might guess. :D

I have recently been getting back into writing; I love to write (and read!), but have never had much time to do so. I am looking for contests and children's magazines for which to submit my work, and have so far entered in one short story contest--we'll see how that goes! As for the magazines, I have been searching, and have found one that I would like to try, but it only publishes once a year...so I will have to wait awhile to submit. Which is okay! If any of you nkow of a good young children's Christian magazine, please let me know! =)

Also, I have LOVED geting back into photography. We do NOT have a good camera, but it is okay. =) Taking pictures is so much fun, and using our little editing program that came with the camera, it can be very satisfying. Below, there is a picture which my good friend Sarah took of me...two years ago, when I was twelve. Not recent, but oh well! I thought it turned out nice.
