This was actually my first custom build, back in 2005. Started off with a 4-up frame from Freddy Hernandez, and 93" S&S Shovelhead (get one!). Trans is a rebuilt, genuine HD ratchet-top from the 70's. Belt drive and clutch are from Primo...of course! Tried to fabricate as many parts as I could: exhaust (stainless), handlebars, sissy bar, seat pan. I welded up the stainless oil tank from a kit that FabKevin makes. Fork legs were shaved on a lathe. All chrome and polish work was done by the best in business, Meclec.
The original tank and fender have been replaced with what you see here. I hand made the gas tank from scratch, and the rear fender is from Front Street Cycle. Yes, it's going to get painted. I used ALOT of takeoff HD parts on the build...cheap AND reliable. Late model forward controls with FabKevin adapters keep the foot position closer and higher than the typical stretched-out riding position that most dipsticks go for. Laced and trued the wheels myself - front wheel is a 21", and rear is an 18" 200mm. Remember, anything bigger than a 200, and you're probably a queer.
